 Water games for children. A theme that confronts the painter here with a work on water, water that slides, water that moves or stagnates, water in oil and oil in water. Water through which images are deformed, water that also sticks T-shirts to the skin. Effects of transparency, colors, wetness, play of shadows and lights. A difficult exercise for the painter. The atmosphere, well... no doubt, it is relaxing. We are having fun here. Well almost. On closer inspection, something is taking shape that announces the coming of a drama. Human nature, here barely a few months old, in its terrible need to survive, covets what the other appropriates. The toy, a small two-tone plane lost in the space of the painting, held firmly in the hand and soon torn away in tears.
